Pedro Henning
Professor at Band Leader since 2004, he has performed in several areas of shows such as orchestra, big band jazz, cumbia, musicals, very active in Brazilian instrumental music and also in regional songs such as samba, forró and choro. He has accompanied artists such as Benito di Paula, Mônica Salmaso, Márcio Lugó, Rodrigo Vellozo, Fernando Grecco (borandá), among others of lesser expression. He leads his quintet (Pedro Henning Quintet) that reinterprets classics of Brazilian music, also participates in other groups such as João de Barro, Forró vem vem, Urubus Malandros, SP Jazz Big Band, Trio Arani, Maiara Moraes Quartet and works as a freelancer as well. .
He developed a great deal of research on Brazilian rhythms adapted to drums.
He also works as a studio musician.
